Nokia 8800 - Simplicity is its beauty!

I was really carried by its attractive looks. Whose? That was the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte. Amazing! As it appeared to me!

I would call it as the most attractive gadget that could be carried with maximum comfort in your pocket as well as in your palm. The keypad was hidden behind a folding that you needed to open so as to use the keypad. The Nokia 8800, phone that has presently been discontinued, was another handset for the people searching for a simple phone.

Dimensional measurements of the device is found to be 107 mm in length, 45 mm in breadth and 15 mm in height. I used to be very much excited about the medium size 1.7 inches TFT screen. And yes! I shouldn't forget about the 134 gm weight of the Nokia 8800. There are wallpapers and screensavers for increasing the attractive beauty of the handset.

The phone has an internal memory of 64 MB with no ability to attach the extra card to expand this storage space.

I could even browse over the web world to get information or simply for entertainment through this gadget.

Nokia 8800 had a Bluetooth v1.2 with A2DP for better connectivity to other handsets and laptops.

Here also is a simple SVGA camera to capture snaps of simple sorts. There can also be videos captured through this simple camera. SMS, EMS, MMS, Email and Instant Messaging are all for sending messages of different sorts to our friends and relatives. The gadget again had an FM radio and inbuilt as well as downloadable games for entertainment.

Amazing performance was possible with  the Standard battery, Li-Ion 600 mAh (BL-5X) having a standby support of 190 hours and a talktime support of 3 hour. With this time support, the handset delivered a great performance for everybody!
